OUR MISSION

Maximize the value of lithium batteries by giving them a second life

VoltR manufactures batteries that offer the same performance as new batteries (quality, capacity, durability) while considerably reducing their carbon footprint through the use of reconditioned cells.

The secret? The use of second-life cells.
The second life is a necessary step and more value-creating than recycling.

The story of VoltR

Alban, François, Maxime and Thibaud, four very complementary co-founders, decided to create VoltR with a conviction: ntrepreneurship can contribute to the energy and ecological transition. VoltR was created after several years of technical study. The first production line is inaugurated in Angers in the presence of Christophe Béchu, Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion.

The second life, at the heart of a virtuous cycle

Our ambition is to structure a European second-of-life sector lithium batteries in order to limit their environmental impact as much as possible.

VoltR wants to exploit the full potential of end-of-life battery deposits through the creation of a circular battery economy as virtuous as possible.

Our values

Responsibility
Eco-responsibility: for us it is the environmental issue that takes precedence.
Social responsibility: we campaign for a local circular economy that creates value and employment
Reliability
We respect our commitments in terms of quality and eco-responsibility. We put our expertise in lithium batteries at the service of our customers and the energy transition.

Global Recycling Day: recycling is great, except when it's too soon

As we celebrate Global Recycling Day, let's explore the place of recycling among the other loops of the circular economy, explain the French and European regulatory framework, and then illustrate why recycling too early amounts to destroying value and how to avoid it.
